UPDATE:
Following a representation by the Students’ Union, the fee schedule for Winter Stay Vacation has been modified as follows:

The deadline to submit the applications has been extended to December 06, 2017.
All other conditions remain the same.
Also, students of LH-7,8 & 9 will be able to avail mess facilities from MH J&K mess.
All students concerned are advised to cooperate.
Students are also advised not to encourage non-boarders in the hostels.

Students desirous of availing hostel facility during the December 2017 vacation are required to do the following:
- Submit an application mentioning the reason for stay
- The application should be duly forwarded by the Head of the Department
- The application should be accompanied by proof for request (NET/JRF Hall Ticket etc)
The applications will be considered only upon being forwarded by the Head of the Department.
Deadline for submitting applications in hostel office: December 03, 2017. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered under any circumstances.
Students will also be required to pay a Vacation Stay Fee of Rs. 1,000 (Gen & OBC) and Rs.500 (SC/ST). Mess facility will be provided at MH-E, MH-J&K and LH-III.
A mess deposit of Rs. 2000/- have to be remitted to the hostel they are attached to.
All concerned students are advised to cooperate.
