The Chief Warden’s Office has reviewed applications received in time requesting for summer stay in the hostels.

  • The lists of students’ applications approved and rejected are enclosed herewith.
  • Some applications were rejected since the applicants had not provided any proof along with reasons for stay.
  • Students in the approved lists will be required to shift as mentioned in the list.
  • Students in rejected lists will be required to vacate the hostel by May 22, 2017without fail. Hostel office staff and Wardens are directed to ensure that the hostels are closed by May 22, 2017 positively.
  • All ladies hostels will continue to function during the summer vacation.
  • Students being shifted to another hostel will be required to sign an undertaking that they will not deface the hostel in any manner and that they will agree to be penalised if they do so.
  • As mentioned earlier, mess facilities will be provided in NRS, J&K, and LH North Campus during summer vacation.
  • Boarders of LH-7&8 can avail mess facilities from MH J&K
  • Hostel offices are directed to make necessary arrangements to transfer the mess cards to the above mess facilities.
  • Students in the approved lists will be required to make necessary payments for accommodation and mess facilities before May 20, 2017. No requests received after the said date will be entertained.
  • The CWO or hostel offices will not be in a position to entertain any further requests for summer stay in hostels.
  • Students are advised to adhere to these instructions without fail.
