The Chief Warden’s Office has been receiving complaints from Differently-Abled students that some hostel boarders have been blocking the pathway to the entrance to the hostel and have been arbitrarily parking their vehicles in the hostel corridors.
It has also received complaints from Visually Challenged students about inconvenience caused due to such arbitrary parking.
Hostel boarders are advised to be sensitive to their Differently Abled colleagues and avoid causing inconvenience to them.
Boarders are strongly advised to park all vehicles outside the hostel without blocking walkways.
Hostel Wardens have been authorized to identify vehicles parked arbitrarily and inside the hostel and fine them Rs.100 the first time. The second time, the vehicle will be seized and handed over to the security.
